Luis Suarez is really good at soccer. He's one of the best players in the world (if not the most controversial) and Liverpool's best player and, with Liverpool in the midst of their best Premier League season since 2009, owner John Henry isn't messing around with weekend with the local derby against Everton scheduled for Saturday.

The Boston Red Sox and Liverpool owner has offered Suarez a trip from Uruguay, where the forward is playing for his national team in a World Cup qualifying play-off game against Jordan on Wednesday, to Liverpool on his private jet so the forward will be back in time for this weekend's Merseyside derby.

Suarez has scored eight goals in six games for Liverpool since returning from his 10 match suspension for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanović near the end of last season.

The Guardian reports that if Suarez were take a regular flight back to Liverpool he wouldn't be back until Thursday night at the earliest and the team's manager Brendan Rogers isn't having that. He wants his in-form forward back before that to recover from the long flights and the two games against Jordan, the first of which was last weeks.

Henry has endured plenty of criticism from both Liverpool and Red Sox fans for not paying attention to the team they root for. But this year looks like one where Henry's not messing around. He wants Liverpool to piggyback on the Red Sox World Series success and sees keeping Suarez fit and ready (as well as not caving in and selling the forward to rival Arsenal in the summer) as the best way to do that.

Henry's jet will leave Boston for Uruguay to pick up Suarez and bring him to the Merseyside. Suarez will have travelled from Liverpool to Jordan then to Uruguay and now back to Liverpool in less than to weeks after this international break. Must be nice to own a private jet.
